The Marked Men Series
This book was the perfect ending to a beautiful, captivating series. At first we weren’t sure that Asa was an important enough character to have his own book and we questioned whether or not his story would be as interesting or effective as the rest. However after reading it we are so very happy to see that there was no reason to be concerned. We should’ve trusted that Jay Crownover would not disappoint. The epilogue was the perfect ending and so perfect that it was written from Asa’s perspective. Throughout the whole series we see the huge importance played on family, loyalty and love. We go on a journey with a bunch of misfits, who all fit perfectly together. They show us that you do not need to be blood to be family. They show us how intense love can be and how it can change everything from imperfect to perfect in a blink of an eye. Even though they all come from broken backgrounds Asa’s self-loathing and doubt is the greatest but by the end of this series Asa highlights how his place with these men, his brothers has pushed him to achieve greatness on all levels of his life.
And there Jay Crownover’s message lies as clear as day: find your path, trust, love and ultimately be happy.
‘We all had marks, some physical, some emotional, some that would never leave us, and many of those marks were of our own making as we all tried to get to the place we were supposed to be. Our marks defined us, separated us, and made us the men we were today.’
‘We were marked and had been marked in unforgettable and forever ways we were all better men for it. Marked men. None of us would have it any other way.’
Thank You Jay!!!
